– During the adsorption cycle, the VOC-laden air flows through one heat recovery bed while the other bed releases the stored heat to the atmosphere.
– Simultaneously, the desorption cycle occurs in the second heat recovery bed, where the heat absorbed during the adsorption cycle is used to combust any remaining VOCs in the exhaust gases.
– The switching between the adsorption and desorption cycles ensures continuous operation and maximizes energy efficiency in the RTO system.
