B\u1ee5i m\u1ecbn (PM) l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t lo\u1ea1i ch\u1ea5t g\u00e2y \u00f4 nhi\u1ec5m kh\u00f4ng kh\u00ed bao g\u1ed3m c\u00e1c h\u1ea1t nh\u1ecf l\u01a1 l\u1eedng trong kh\u00f4ng kh\u00ed. RTO ho\u1ea1t \u0111\u1ed9ng b\u1eb1ng c\u00e1ch l\u00e0m n\u00f3ng kh\u00f4ng kh\u00ed \u00f4 nhi\u1ec5m \u0111\u1ebfn nhi\u1ec7t \u0111\u1ed9 cao (700-1000\u00b0C) trong bu\u1ed3ng \u0111\u1ed1t, n\u01a1i b\u1ee5i m\u1ecbn (PM) b\u1ecb oxy h\u00f3a v\u00e0 ph\u00e2n h\u1ee7y th\u00e0nh c\u00e1c ch\u1ea5t v\u00f4 h\u1ea1i. Thi\u1ebft b\u1ecb oxy h\u00f3a nhi\u1ec7t ph\u1ee5c h\u1ed3i (RTO) l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t thi\u1ebft b\u1ecb ki\u1ec3m so\u00e1t \u00f4 nhi\u1ec5m kh\u00f4ng kh\u00ed hi\u1ec7u qu\u1ea3, gi\u00fap gi\u1ea3m thi\u1ec3u b\u1ee5i m\u1ecbn.
