Syst\u00e9m RTO pozost\u00e1va zo spa\u013eovacej komory, keramick\u00fdch v\u00fdmenn\u00edkov tepla a riadiaceho syst\u00e9mu. Vzduch s obsahom prchav\u00fdch organick\u00fdch zl\u00fa\u010den\u00edn (VOC) sa nas\u00e1va do spa\u013eovacej komory, kde sa zahrieva na teplotu 760 \u00b0C (1400 \u00b0F) alebo vy\u0161\u0161iu.
