Emisiile Chinei reprezint\u0103 peste jum\u0103tate din totalul emisiilor globale de metan provenite din mineritul c\u0103rbunelui.<\/li>\n<li>\u00cen 2018, China a extras 13 miliarde de metri cubi de gaze, din care au fost utiliza\u021bi 5,3 miliarde de metri cubi cu o concentra\u021bie mai mare de 9%, cu o rat\u0103 de utilizare de 40,7%.<\/li>\n<li>\u00cen timpul procesului de extrac\u021bie a c\u0103rbunelui, aproximativ 60%-70% din gazul cu concentra\u021bie sc\u0103zut\u0103 este sub 9%, cu o rat\u0103 de utilizare de doar 2%. Efectul de ser\u0103 al metanului are un \u201epoten\u021bial de \u00eenc\u0103lzire GWP pe o perioad\u0103 de 100 de ani\u201d de 28 de ori mai mare dec\u00e2t cel al dioxidului de carbon.<\/li>\n<li>Reducerea drastic\u0103 a emisiilor de metan va fi o condi\u021bie necesar\u0103 pentru atingerea controlului \u00eenc\u0103lzirii globale <strong><em>sub 1,5 \u2103<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>\u00cen ianuarie 2021, Ministerul Ecologiei \u0219i Protec\u021biei Mediului a subliniat necesitatea consolid\u0103rii monitoriz\u0103rii gazelor cu efect de ser\u0103 \u0219i a integr\u0103rii treptate a acesteia \u00een implementarea general\u0103 a sistemului de monitorizare a mediului ecologic. La nivelul surselor punctuale cheie de emisie, vor fi realizate proiecte pilot pentru monitorizarea emisiilor de metan \u00een industrii cheie, cum ar fi petrolul \u0219i gazele, mineritul c\u0103rbunelui etc.<\/li>\n<li>Reluarea programului na\u021bional de reducere voluntar\u0103 certificat\u0103 a emisiilor (CCER) este iminent\u0103.
