No processo de decora\u00e7\u00e3o de interiores e engenharia de decora\u00e7\u00e3o, os compostos org\u00e2nicos vol\u00e1teis prov\u00eam principalmente de tintas, revestimentos e adesivos. O teor de VOC em tintas em geral \u00e9 de 30 a 70 gramas por litro. Como os compostos org\u00e2nicos vol\u00e1teis t\u00eam grande volatilidade, em circunst\u00e2ncias normais, a constru\u00e7\u00e3o da tinta em 10 horas pode volatilizar
