Een van de meest geaccepteerde technologie\u00ebn voor luchtverontreinigingscontrole in de industrie is het regeneratieve thermische oxidatorsysteem, algemeen bekend als RTO. RTO gebruikt een keramisch bed dat is verhit van de vorige oxidatiecyclus om de invoergassen voor te verwarmen en ze gedeeltelijk te oxideren. Het voorverwarmde gas komt de verbrandingskamer binnen, die wordt verhit door een externe brandstofbron om de beoogde oxidatietemperatuur tussen 760 \u00b0C (1.400 \u00b0F) en 820 \u00b0C (1.510 \u00b0F) te bereiken. Voor toepassingen die maximale schade vereisen, kan de uiteindelijke temperatuur oplopen tot 1.100 \u00b0C (2.010 \u00b0F). De luchtstroom varieert van 2,4 tot 240 standaard kubieke meter per seconde.<\/p>\n

RTO (regeneratieve thermische oxidator) is veelzijdig en zeer effici\u00ebnt \u2013 tot 95% thermische effici\u00ebntie. Ze worden vaak gebruikt om oplosmiddelen, dampen, geuren, enz. uit alle lagen van de bevolking te verminderen. RTO regeneratieve thermische oxidatoren zijn ideaal voor lage tot hoge VOC-concentratiebereiken tot 10 g\/m3 oplosmiddelen. Er zijn tegenwoordig veel soorten regeneratieve thermische oxidatoren op de markt die een oxidatie- of vernietigingseffici\u00ebntie van vluchtige organische stoffen (VOS) hebben van 99,5+%. De keramische warmtewisselaar in de toren kan worden ontworpen voor een thermische effici\u00ebntie van maximaal 97+%.<\/p>\n

    Wat is een regeneratieve thermische oxidator?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Een regeneratieve thermische oxide (RTO) is een verbrandingsapparaat dat vluchtige organische stoffen (VOS), gevaarlijke luchtverontreinigende stoffen (HAP's) en geuren controleert door emissies om te zetten in (destructieve) emissies en door warmte te gebruiken om emissies om te zetten in CO2 en H2O en deze vervolgens in de atmosfeer vrij te laten. RTO kan een thermische effici\u00ebntie bereiken van maximaal 97% en een vernietigingseffici\u00ebntie van meer dan 99%.<\/p>\n

    RTO-oxidator wordt beschouwd als een van de meest geavanceerde thermische oxidatiesystemen ter wereld.     Hoe werkt een regeneratieve thermische oxidator?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Regeneratieve thermische oxidatoren (RTOS) werken door lucht gevuld met verontreinigende stoffen door het peroxide te duwen. Meestal gebeurt dit via een systeemventilator.<\/li>\n
    2. De luchtstroom door de RTO wordt geregeld door een klep die de luchtstroom naar een van de twee warmtewisselaars leidt (een kamer met een keramisch di\u00eblektrisch bed).<\/li>\n
    3. De RTO moet ten minste twee keramische di\u00eblektrische bedden (zadels en\/of gestructureerde di\u00eblektrische blokken) als warmtewisselaars hebben. Wanneer vuile lucht door het eerste mediumbed stroomt, absorbeert het warmte van het hete keramische medium en komt vervolgens in de verbrandingskamer.<\/li>\n
    4. In de verbrandingskamer wordt vuile lucht op een temperatuur (> 1500\u00b0F) gehouden met een specifieke verblijftijd (> 5 seconden). Dit oxideert VOC's en HAP tot koolstofdioxide en waterdamp.<\/li>\n
    5. Warme en schone lucht verlaat de verbrandingskamer en komt in het tweede keramische mediumbed terecht om warmte op te nemen voor hergebruik.<\/li>\n
    6. De afgekoelde, schone lucht wordt vervolgens in de atmosfeer uitgestoten.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      De klep verandert elke paar minuten van richting, waardoor de stroomrichting wordt omgekeerd, zodat de warmteoverdracht tussen de twee keramische mediabedden afwisselt. Dit is de reden waarom RTO's (regeneratieve thermische oxidatoren) een hoge brandstofeffici\u00ebntie en lage bedrijfskosten hebben, waardoor ze een ideaal VOC-reductiesysteem zijn.<\/p>\n

      De roterende RTO bestaat uit een verbrandingskamer, een regeneratiekamer en een roterende klep.<\/p>\n

      De oven is verdeeld in 12 kamers: 5 inlaatkamers, 5 uitlaatkamers, 1 reinigingskamer en 1 isolatiekamer.<\/p>\n

      De roterende klep wordt door de motor aangestuurd voor continue en gelijkmatige rotatie. Onder de roterende klep schakelt het uitlaatgas langzaam continu tussen 12 kamers. De basisstructuur is weergegeven in de afbeelding rechts.<\/p>\n

                        Regeneratieve katalytische oxidator<\/strong><\/h2>\n

                        Het Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer (RCO) systeem is gebaseerd op de structuur van een RTO, met een speciaal katalysatormateriaal toegevoegd aan de oxidator, dat voldoende warmte-energie levert om VOC's te vernietigen om de bedrijfstemperatuur van het RTO-systeem te verlagen en de snelheid van de oxidatiereactie te verhogen. In tegenstelling tot thermische verbranding is RCO vlamloos en schakelt het automatisch de verwarming uit wanneer het behandelingsinlaatgas 300 \u00b0C overschrijdt.
