V potravin\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9m pr\u016fmyslu lze RTO pou\u017e\u00edt k ni\u010den\u00ed t\u011bkav\u00fdch organick\u00fdch slou\u010denin (VOC) a pach\u016f, kter\u00e9 se uvol\u0148uj\u00ed b\u011bhem r\u016fzn\u00fdch v\u00fdrobn\u00edch proces\u016f.
