Rekupera\u010dn\u00ed termick\u00fd oxid\u00e1tor je typ za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed pro regulaci zne\u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed ovzdu\u0161\u00ed, kter\u00e9 vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 vysok\u00e9 teploty k p\u0159em\u011bn\u011b nebezpe\u010dn\u00fdch l\u00e1tek zne\u010di\u0161\u0165uj\u00edc\u00edch ovzdu\u0161\u00ed na l\u00e1tky, kter\u00e9 nejsou nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9. Technologie RTO je zalo\u017eena na principu termick\u00e9 oxidace, kde se t\u011bkav\u00e9 organick\u00e9 slou\u010deniny (VOC) oxiduj\u00ed zah\u0159\u00edv\u00e1n\u00edm na vysokou teplotu za p\u0159\u00edtomnosti kysl\u00edku. Proces p\u0159em\u011b\u0148uje VOC na oxid uhli\u010dit\u00fd a vodn\u00ed p\u00e1ru, kter\u00e9 se pot\u00e9 uvol\u0148uj\u00ed do atmosf\u00e9ry.<\/p>\n

Tento proces v\u00fdm\u011bny tepla pom\u00e1h\u00e1 sni\u017eovat provozn\u00ed n\u00e1klady RTO, proto\u017ee \u0161et\u0159\u00ed energii a sni\u017euje mno\u017estv\u00ed paliva pot\u0159ebn\u00e9ho k udr\u017een\u00ed teploty.<\/p>\n
